Ht. 5'6", Wt. 150 - Someone on here said something about high sycrose suryup or something like that? Not to sound dumb or anything but what is that and how do I know what had that in it??????????

High fructose corn syrup, corn syrup, trans fats, and partially/fully hydrogenated ingredients cause health problems such as insulin malfunctioning, and can cause weight gain. Its all linked to the rise in obesity. It is actually not hard to avoid, unless you are eating out. Just read ingredients lists in grocery stores. Organic brands can be found of most foods. Basically those ingredients are in foods you shouldnt be eating anyway.

high fructsoe corn syrup is kid of like a yucky sugar-substitie to my knowledge. I'm not completely sure of the techniacal def. so don't quote me, but it's bad for you and cause weight gain and bloating and stuff. It's hard to avoid, it's in almost every kind of pacakged product, even bread, so look for organic producst wheenever you can, don't eat salads from fast food places, and don't buy crackers or anything where hight frutose corn syrup is listed on the top 5 ingredients. it's almost impossible to avoid, so just limit it.
