The veggies were drowned in butter, the salad was dry so you had to chooose some fattening dressing or something. My 2 "last straw" moments were when I accidentily took a sip of expired milk and when I got some greasy chicken patty. I used like 3 napkins and they only wiped a little bit of grease off the meat. SO GROSS! Brown-bagging is agreat idea! I love some of these things for lunch: 1.) tuna sandwhich made with Lemonoise not mayo, or 2 two leftover meatballs in a roll with sauce, or your own Asian salad, lean turkey(ham, roast beef or chicken) sandwhiches, stir-fried tofu with veggies in a container. If u can heat up lunches, try some Annie`s Organic pocket thingies, like spinach and feta cheese or veggie, or her bean burritos. Just don`t eat them everyday becuase they have a lot of salt. Some of the other things listed by others were good too. For snacks and sides to these basic lunches, you can add nuts to bulk up any salad, fruit for dessert, 1 square dark choc. once a week (should be at least 70% cocoa), string cheeses, yogurts, and puddings. Hope I helped! Good luck and happy munching!

Reply from Mikayla, Age 16 - 08/22/06 - IP#: 24.18.50.xxx I'm a vegetarian and this is what I eat almost every day. Take a low carb, low fat tortilla (the ones without the lard or hydrogenated products), put some cheese in it, tomatoes, onions, and spinach. roll it up and go. I dont know if it would be a good keeper in brown bag. I've never tried. Also string cheese is good, fruit, veggies, water, etc. Recipezaar.com and mypyramid.gov are good sources for help
