Ht. 5'7, Wt. N:270 QG:240 UG:130 - I'm so weak! They need to BAN me from the grocery store. I have set my goal of 55 pounds lost by December-End of December. I have a problem like-i'll eat healthy and wont exercise and then eat crapy and exercise. I totally suck. My dad went grocery shopping and almost everything he got had over 1gram of trans fat in it. I wanted to hurl, does anyone know if they have organic doughnuts? LOL! We made a homemade lasanga last night and none of my ingredients had trans-fat in it. Thank goodness. Is it okay for me to have a small piece and a huge salad with low-fat-low calorie dressing. A very small dinner and lots of DDR. I need to get myself back on track some how. It feels impossible sometimes. ARGH!

There isn't really a brand. Just go to the salad section of your grocery and look for a bag of salad that is dark green. And to sort of "wean" you into asparagus I'd suggest getting dark green Romaine lettuce first, then asparagus. Good luck!

I know how you feel! :] My dad and mom are both in shape and they think because they are and can eat whatever than I can eat whatever too. Here's the key: eat in small proportions. Pasta? Have a small piece. Pizza? Well, you'd probably be better off with a salad. :] And don't eat a huge helping of salad every night. Why? Salad EXPANDS YOUR STOMACH. Sorry, I had to write that in all caps just to make sure you weren't skipping over this ;) That doesn't mean to cut salad out - just don't eat the whole bag, or half the bag. And finally, when buying salad, don't buy iceberg, buy a dark green or one with asparagus. It may taste a bit different, but it's SO much healthier for you. Iceberg has NO nutrition, but the asparagus ones have tons, which helps you lose weight faster. Hope I helped, and good luck! :]
