Ht. 5ft. 5in., Wt. 169lbs - Okay...I wanna scream to high heaven! Gym was rockin' today!! I've gained great muscle in my arms and legs, even my abs. it's not like a six-pack or anything but I did so much better than last year and some of my heavier friends. I think loosing 15lbs and praciticing my exercises helped a lot. You can believe my teacher is a drill sargent..she's a kick-boxing instrucor! Her workouts are really intense, son that's one of my three formal exercise days of the week!

See we lucked out at my school. Basically everyone in Somers plays sports. EVERYONE! Since we play sports year round our teacher doesn't really make us do something for gym. We run around the gym for 10 minutes, do a minute of pushups, and a minute of crunches. Then we'll go outside and like play soccer or something. Its really pretty great.

At my school we do warm up witch is jogging around the gym for 2 songs. Then we do stretching, 20-30 situps, 10-20 pushups, Planks for 10-20 seconds on each arm and regular, we do flutter kicks or other ab workouts, Jusmping jacks up to 7 down to 2 (we have to do it over again and again untill everyone does it right and we get pushups everytime we do it wrong). Then we have cardio every day witch is on the track like running mile or a half mile. walking the turns rnning the straits. Different things every day. Then for the rest of the period we have an activity. Currently soccer. Our periods are 1 hour and 3 minutes long so we have to do a lot.

Well Michelle, our teacher's pretty tough! First we have to run relay races, doing like 15 pushups, then adding 15 sit ups, etc. and repeating the whole thing like five times! We also do drills with partner like situps and pushups and stuff. I felt like my arms were gonna fall off!

my gym teacher is evil. he makes us do 40 sit ups, then 3 laps around the giant qym. then 25 pushups, then 3 laps again. then 15 weird things that hurt like $#@!!#, and then 3 laps AGAIN, and then jumping for 3 minutes, then 3 laps again, and then jumping for 4 minutes, then 3 laps again. and then do it ALL AGAIN. we do this every other day. i think i will be 90 pounds by the end of the week. the running was actually great, i had amazing endurance. it was kind of fun, actually....
