Ht. 6'0, Wt. ---- - haven't been on here in a while but just yesterday at my volleyball game i tripped over a girl and hurt my foot...my doctor says im out of volleyball until atleast wednesday then i have to go back for a checkup on it...but im worried because volleyball is my main source of excercize and now that i cant do it i dont wann gain weight...so do any of you know excercize i can still do...i still do 500 crunches a day but now i cant do my squats or running.....ahh im worried please help!!

Give it proper time to heal or it never will. Believe me. Just give it time to rest and if you gain a little weight while its healing that's okay. Your health is a number one concern. Just make sure you eat healthy and good luck!
Reply from Lindsey, Age 11 - 09/24/06 - IP#: 207.200.116.xxx just so ya know, crunches dont really burn calories, they just tone. i say just eat healthfully and as soon as you are able to, get back to your normal routine or even change it up a little, like dance. it is kind of good to take a short rest too because then your body isnt used to the routine anymore. it just kind of gives your muscles a wake-up call. Reply from reece, Age 13 - 09/24/06 - IP#: 138.89.89.xxx i play volleyball too and i hurt my leg but i refused to let anything stop me from playing so i played on it anyways...but ur foot is probably unplayable on so u should just do ur crunches and realli watch wat u eat and u should be ok good luck in volleyball!!! and good luck with loosing weight
