Ht. 5'3?, Wt. you don't wanna know - GOD!!! I'm getting so pissed. I mean, I'm a big person, but not huge and kids don't make fun of me. I mean, I know a lot of overweight kids that get teased, especially in high school, but i'm not one of them. It just annoys me because all of my friends are really skinny. Anyways, it is so hard to lose weight, and I've tried everything. I'm a jock(female, of course), and I play a lot of sports, but it doesn't help. I want to get into Karate(my friends and I think it sounds fun), but I don't know if I can do it because my parents already pay for guitar! argghh... this is soo annoying!

I had this problem too. I'm a jock (female) too and before I started watching what I ate I thought that all the sports I was doing was burning off everything I ate. I mean I was doing a good 6 hours of practice every day. Well turns out, your not burning as many calories as you think. A good 20 minute run we had only burned about 100 calories. That means that really with all the practice I was doing, I wasn't burning off a lot. I did have to do weight watchers and watch what I was eating and I realized how many extra points I was eating and how little points I was earning for exercising. So on top of the exercise you really do have to watch what you eat. Sorry but it's an unfair fact of life. The girls that eat whatever they want and still stay skinny are just genetically blessed and that'll probably stop once they get older and have kids. If you learn healthy eating habits now that'll never happen. So good luck!
