what does water do that makes it so good for u?

i actually just read this in the newest fitness magazine: basically, your kidneys flush out toxins and stuff from your body, but if there dehydrated, they can't do it by themselves so your liver has to help. your liver then can't do its job of burning fat for energy. so therefore staying hydrated helps you lose weight

Well if you don't have it, you'll get dehydrated. Your body needs it to keep running smoothly. Plus it helps flush out toxins from your body keeping it squeaky clean. So its not really a benefit your having its the necessity of having it.
