Ht. 5'6, Wt. 157 - I must say sticking to a diet is really hard. I mean there are just some days I want to take a break and eat normally. Will it totally blow my efforts if like every other week for one day I actually ate chocolate or ice cream?

Well, you didn't do to bad! Eating protein an dhwole grains is importnat, after all! SO is dairy! But you need to eat less starches a.k.a white potatoes and replace them with fruits, veggies and things like nuts and olive oils. I'm trinyg to ween myself off of white potato4es for the most part. Eat yams or sweet potatoes instead, which are loaded with vitamin A and karotein! :0)

"Eating normally" should be banished from your vocabulary! Your new "diet" is actually a healthy, permanent lifestlye change. So just remember that pretty soon you won't crave chocolate cake or fries as often as you used to! Belive me, as I kid I ate a lot of this stuff and now I practically don't want it at all anymore! And yes, my doctor told me I should actually eat a small treat 2 a week, so feel free to indulge in a small serving and enjoy every bit of it! :0)
