Ht. 5'2, Wt. 201 - ok I just did 456 exercises. I have a question for ya'll everytime i reach up my abs hurt really bad. Is because i do 60 crucnchs every day or is just toning up.

honestly to me, i just think you worked really hard and you did okay =] what i do is do your crunches orwhatever before bed... so that way they get torest after. i usually do 300-500 when im in the mood to excercise other wise i do 100-200. i do dif. kinds of sets of crunches.

if your abs are sore, then its cause your muscles are getting stronger, but if they hurt real bad you may have hurt yourself. remember to stretch and keep up the good work!

The reasons your muscles hurt is becasue they werent stretched..and also because when you work out a muscle, the muscle tears. it takes 24-48 hours for it to heal. as it heals the muscle will get stronger/larger. A little soreness is natural but be sure to stretch
