Ht. 5ft.5in, Wt. 245 - Hey, my name is GG. I'm thirteen years old and overweight. I even started being homeschooled so that i would not be teased in gym class. I have tried two times already to go on a diet, and after about a month each time, I start eating unhealthy things little by little, and then constantly. I do not feel good in my body and everytime I go outside it seems like people look at me. Well, anyways I was just hoping that maybe someone could post some healthy foods that i should be eating and stuff and what type of exercise i should do. That would be great! Thank you VERY much!

Just give up soda, and drink water instead. give up unneeded sugar. have something small for dessert every night or every other night so you don't deprive yourself. keep coming to this site, it really helps. eat lots of fruits and vegtables and whole grains. p.s your name GG reminded me of GIlmore Girls which i have an obsession with. haha sorry thats so random, but it made me smile =)

I'm not sure but maybe you could use motivation, a weightloss buddy would be great or maybe even joining a weightloss club. The best thing to start off losing weight is doing 1/2 hour of cardio 3 times a week. Walk on the treadmill, outside, or go ride your bike. Personally I love to dance for 1/2 hour, it burns calories and I have fun. As for dieting try this trick. When you go into a grocery store don't go into the middle aisles. Why? all the processed unhealthy foods tend to be in the middle aisles and all the healthy necessities such as dairy, veggies, fruits, and fresh bread are on the outside. For breakfast I would have a slice of toast topped with a slice of cheese and an egg white, with a cup of tea. I got my protein serving for the day and antioxidants. For lunch I usually split my sandwich in half. Half for now then another half in about one to two hours. Never go for more than 4 hours without eating, otherwise you may binge. Eat lots of fruits and veggies. I have my fridge stocked with strawberries and papaya, which are my personal favorites. I'm not a fan of veggies but carrots and celery are part of my lunch every day. My dinner consists of either chicken, fish, or another slice of toast with cheese and egg whites. If you plan on going on a diet, a multivitamin may be important just incase you don't get all the nutrients you need. I take flintstones gummies. K hope that helped and good luck on your weight loss
