Reply from Isabella, Age 13 - 11/15/06 - IP#: 72.92.15.xxx Amy. go by your doc! This ssight said I needed to be 138 lbs, but I checked with my doc (knows both of my parents) and said a healthy weight for my age, height, body type, etc. was 145. Calculators don't tell the whole story! PLus, muscle weighs more than fat, which oculd be throwing you off as well.

Sounds like you are right on the cut-off. That's good. It means now that you are aware - that's a powerful thing. My advice is to start learning more about good nutrition and healthy physical activity. Go online to coolnurse.com and mypyramid.com or talk to a teacher. Good luck.
