Ht. 5'3", Wt. 152 - (sorry if this post is really long. i gotta get somethin off my chest)i have a question, does anyone else have the same problem as me. My problem being my mother. She makes me feel soooo fat. Im trying reeeeaaally hard 2 loose weight but then she makes comments that totally destroy my self esteem. Example: Ill eat oatmeal 4 bf, salad 4 lunch & eat No snacks & then my mom will ask me what ive eaten, ill tell her & she'll say "now if u just have a light dinner u should b fine." UHHHHHH! Or heres something she said the other day. I only have a few pairs of jeans (that fit neway) & my fav pair (which btw was 2 tight a few months ago & now they r perfect almost loose on me) has the bottom all torn up from me walking on them. My mom told me 2 throw them out & i said that she would have 2 buy me a new pair of jeans then. She says (in a snooty voice) "Well i thought you were gonna have lost a bunch of weight by now." (Cuz im loosing weight so i was gonna get a new wardrobe 1ce i lost.) Come on! Im trying! Give me a break!
Neway, i just thought id share my woes with people who might understand. If u r in a situation similar to mine concerning ur parents, dont give up! I feel for u. Good luck every1!

Yeah, my mom can be like that, too. Just don't listen to her. I'm sure when she does that she's not even aware it's hurting your feelings. Anyway, if you want a fun way to exercise, try jump roping. I know you probably thinking I'm crazy, but trust me I know what I'm talking about. I'm on a pro jump rope team(I'm like the fattest kid on it though, lol) and even though it's tiring it builds up stamina and helps you lose lots of weight. Plus it's lots of fun. You could even start your own jump rope team. Anyway, g2g. Stay strong!

to the post below... that is not right. first off her telling her own daughter that is disgusting but 4 her 2 speak to u that way is way over the line. I hate people like that, being skinny skinny, is UNATTRACTIVE!!!!!! Slim and toned make you look good all ur life.

Yep, my mama's been seriously ticking me off lately. She has recently switched from working nights to days as a nurse, and now has even more time to piss me off. I started my diet and exercise regimen and all of a sudden she goes Sabina you need to lose weight. That got me really mad and I was like I'm trying quit harassing me about it. I get she was only trying to help, but I wish she would understand I have been taking care of myself for god knows how long, I don't need her on my back about everything. If it's not weight, then it's about school, or why my cousin has a boyfriend and I don't. Seriously if she hasn't noticed I'm in the top ten at school, and am being asked by top universities to attend. But no she still frickin complains about sumthin and compares me to my alcholic, skinny cousin. Are parents blind intentionally, cuz I wonder sometimes. Anyways sry 4 the long response, but don't give up and good luck on losing weight.
