Reply from nina, Age 15 - 11/19/06 - IP#: 207.200.116.xxx i got PCOS too. i looked it up and it definitely helps to lose weight: "A healthy weight. Maintaining a healthy weight is another way women can help manage PCOS. Since obesity is common with PCOS, a healthy diet and physical activity help maintain a healthy weight, which will help the body lower glucose levels, use insulin more efficiently, and may help restore a normal period. Even loss of 10% of her body weight can help make a woman's cycle more regular."
Reply from Ashly, Age 13 - 11/19/06 - IP#: 24.10.188.xxx Yes I know it is VERY rough.. I am only 13 and I weigh 207lbs. i know bad... Kids can be very mean and sometimes I wish they knew how it feels to be obese and over weight..really what you should do is not skip meals but just smaller and healthier proportions.. what I like to do is go out and byuy myself a brand new shirt that is too small and put it on my wall or something so everyday I can look at it and be motivated to lose weight. If you would liek to e-mail me so we can talk and stuff my e-mail is qween_ashee@hotmail.com...Good luck! ~Ashly~
