Katie, I'm copy/pasting this from a comment I left someone else on this site previously...Ok now, Eat breakfast everyday! (a healthy breakfast, I eat Honey Nut Cheerios with 2% milk) and have healthy snacks through out the day and lunch and dinner. Walk after every meal (it aids digestion and speeds up the metabolism) Make sure you eat healthy foods and in moderation, eat small portion sizes and chew your food to bits! Drink 64 oz of water everyday and avoid all white foods (eat whole grains!) and foods high in bad fats and bad carbs. Also of course, exercise is key! it's like ying and yang...you can't have one without the other, you gotta have nutritious eating with exercise. You can't just eat right and lay on the couch and watch TV or you can't work out and eat Doritos. You gotta do both of them consistently to make it work! DON'T GIVE UP! because the people who give up always tend to say "It wasn't working for me.." well...it doesn't work because people give up so easily. If you stick with it, you will surely drop lbs left and right. Losing weight is a beautiful and gradual process...you have to give it time and the in the end it's all worth it and you don't want to go back to your bad habits, the eating healthy and working out tends to stick with you because you get used to it:) Once you put your mind to it, nobody can stop you and you'll fall in love with yourself because of the good your doing for your body! Good Luck. Katie!!! :)
