Ht. 5'2", Wt. 147 - I need help. I exercise and try to diet...Nothing helps

Try renting "the biggest looser: the workout" it has worked for me, and they even have a 6 week program, and a way to customize which workouts you want to do. You switch up so every week is something different. Stick with it every day for the full six weeks and it should work.
Another thing to remember is to watch portions..... If you see yourself trying to get a second serving, grab a full glass of water... still hungry? Grab a piece of fruit, a celery stick or your fav. veggie, 5 wheat thins or triskets, or a small yogurt
You should also have two snacks (like one of the ones above) in between breakfast, lunch and dinner so your eating every 3-4 hours and your metabolism will burn all day. What also works for me is not skipping breakfast. Try low wheat tost, 1 egg, a slice of cheese or plain lowfat yogurt and your fav. fruit chooped up, and water or juice.
