Ht. 5'6", Wt. 160 - alright everyone here is what I have learned today...apparently trying to start a diet during holiday season is pretty...i can't think of the correct word... but if u understand just stick with me here. everywhere i am its delicious this, ohh yummy that, oh and an extra helping of scrumptious fat!!! lol i'm a poet...not...anyways i think i might just keep up the workout five days a week, but just not deprive myself of yummies, i won't binge but i won't resist food either. U get what i mean? anyways i do have those new year's resolutions...haha can't remember last years so i guess i fulfilled them? so let me know how ur putting up with the high calorie foods that moms can't resist making or buying for the holidays. good luck to all of u and don't let my weakness stop u
Reply from Vegas, Age 14 - 12/06/06 - IP#: 71.134.56.xxx Holiday goodies ... the devil in disguise. :D Well I put up with them by many ways. If I'm out with my friends and they offer me goodies I'll simply say "OhmiGod that looks sooo good ... but I already ate and am about to throw up! I mean, my mom's mashed potatoes are too addicting" or something along those lines :D If you're at a meal with your family, don't think because you're on a diet you can't eat anything. Just take a little bit (LITTLE) of everything. A half scoop of mashed potatoes, a piece of ham, a scoop of corn. And to even it out try eating a healthy salad BEFORE your meal and having veggies and/or fruit with your meal. For dessert you can try skipping it, or if that doesn't work take a 'sample piece'.
