Ht. 5'0", Wt. 146 - ok, i have always been short for my age, and usually overweight. I need some dieting tips. i never have time to eat breakfast because i need to be at school so early. we have lunch, but its at like 1 pm, and we go home at like 3, and our food is really unhealth, so i just eat a yogurt, and weight to get home. so my first meal of the day is at like 6, which is dinner. i exercise like crazy, and it is working, so far i've lost 5 lbs in the past week, but that is and unhealthy weight drop. my friends are always yelling at me to eat more, and i tell them, but they all think that it's unhealthy, and i do too. in otherwords, i need some help for a healthy weight loss
Reply from Orcy, Age 15 - 12/11/06 - IP#: 70.172.200.xxx ok have a little something for breakfast. Its ok if it's really small, its just important to have something to jumpstart your metabolism. It can be a peice of fruit, wheat toast with peanut butter, anything like that. try to bring a lunch to school, like a sandwich, some fruit and veggies, and maybe something like a 100 calorie pack. then have a small snack when you get home (about 150 calories), and then eat a regular dinner with your family. you might gain a pound or two at first, but thats only because you've basically been starving yourself so your body will hold on to the calories it gets, but in a few days it will realize it doesn't need to and you can continue to lose weight healthfully.
