Ht. 5'0", Wt. 125 - So, I'm trying to start a new lifestyle for the new year, but i need help. does anybody know of any secrets that will stop me from drinking pop and wanting to eat candy, and one of my biggest problems... over eating. It seems to me my body never tells me when i'm full, so i just keep eating, if anybody at all has some suggestions on how i can tell when i'm full and not eat so much junk food and pop i would apprieciate it a lot. PLZ HELP!!!!!!

My advice would be to put up pcitures of models in Bikinis everywhere and when u look at them u will be like wow ok i'll stop eating now! ps not everywhere but jsut placess///

just limit yourself. start by drinking lesser and lesser amounts of candy and soda. also stop temptation by not having soda and alot of candy in your house. then all in all eventually just stop or have a sweet day once a weeks and allow yourself 1 diet pop or a piece of candy. Eventually, youll not be tempted when you see it. Thats what I did. But i stopped for awhile and now Im back into laffy taffies and diet coke. But im limiteing myself again so I'm almost there.-A

I know EXACTLY how you feel. I often feel like my body doesn't have a full meter either. And my biggest struggles are also with the soda, [even though I just drink diet, I still want to stop] and the desserts. I agree about not quiting either of those cold turkey. As for the full meter, I find it best to have a set amount of what you plan to eat every day [as in counting calories, and planning meals to satisfy them], and wait till you are truly hungry before you eat. Like wait till your stomach burns or growls... hunger pains are different for everyone... but you know when you are really hungry. Hope this was helpful!

dont try to stop cold turkey. try starting with only soda once a day, every other day. then limit it to once a week or whatever , until eventaully you only have it for special occasions. do that same thing with candy.

well i dont really know how to tell when your full but drinking lots of water should pretty much help you with that.....it helps me...just drink a lot of water during the day and you probably wont feel like eating any junk food.
