Ht. 5'2", Wt. 182 - hey, i just started trying to lose weight. i was wondering if anyone would have any tips for me, or any tricks they have found for losing weight. i'm an emotional eater it seems, food is like my comfort. anyways. so yeah thanks =)

instead of eating find a hobby, if you're kept busy you won't eat unless you're hungry

There are no 'tricks' for losing weight- no gimmicks. Losing weight is pure math. You need to burn more calories that you eat. Eat lots of low fat protein, low carb whole grains and green leafy vegitables and exercise for an hour a day and hey! You're fit! Until you figure out why youre an emotional eater, you will continue to eat emotionally and therefore will always be overweight. Try to figure out what motiviates you to eat emotionally and try to think of eating as a way of fueling your body rather than a way of comforting it. Eat to live- dont live, to eat. this is what I do try to eat healty and get February's Seventeen it has exercisses or Teen Prom or Cosmo Girl for February
