Ht. 5'4", Wt. 145 - so i think im going to do track to get better at running also to help my body is anyone on here in track what does it do to your body how can running help you

i do track...i've done it for a while even when i was much lighter so its easier for me...i went to states last year for long jump and discus. i did the 4x1 and the occasional triple lst year too. i'm not sure what events i'll do this year because i don't know how good i'll be at jumping with all this extra weight. my coach says we'll just lose it and in the mean time use it to build strength in my legs...nice...but when i was real involved in track the past few years i was in good shape. get your form because injuries just suck. try your best and remember that nobody's a champion overnight...unless you're just a natural sprinter or jumper but that's another story. try it...its fun, atleast at my school

i do track. I throw though, which for most teams means not much running, but my coach has us run a lot. Its so much fun, you make so many new friends.

track can help a lot! practice hard. GO FOR IT!!
