Ht. 5'6", Wt. 220 - so i have a ?... iwas thinking about buying ankle and wrist weights for when i walk to burn extra caloreis... has anyone used them ( with good results) and do you think it's even worth it?

ankle weights i've heard are bad. i used to run and jump with them on to help my vert but my coach told me that they can damage ligaments in the knee and ankle because its such an exteme addition of weight. even though its only like 5-10 pounds each. so, yes, you'll burn cals but you could hurt legs. my mom walks with the hand weights though and she swears by them. so, yeah, your choice. I suggest researching them a bit though and getting a good idea of the consequences and benefits.

Yes they do help burn calories. You will not see results but you sure will feel them!
