Ht. 5'3", Wt. 322 - hey guys..i've decided to weigh myself everyone monday and i broke the rule today cuz i've been feeling like i've been gaining weight constantly this week and i was right..since monday ive gained 17 lbs..nd i've been eating less than usual..but i've also started working out..i do as many crunches as i can in 10 min. but i cant do to many..i have such a big stomach that its hard for me to do them..(my aunts 8 months pregnant with twins and her stomach is still smaller than mine:[ My family is constantly making fun of me for that..but i mean it is pretty sad that my stomach is bigger than someone pregnant..w/ twins no less) ok so after i do crunches i try doing sit ups but i cant do them cuz when my arms are all the way out my belly is touching the floor..so there pointless for me to do..but then i do like 20 jumping jacks, and sometimes i try to run in place for like a min. and i started this on mon..so i thought maybe the weight was muscle but its not, and i just dont know what to do..this week i've cut down on my eating and i've started working out..but then since mon. i've gained 17 lbs idk wut to do plzz help me

i have no idea what could have happened, but i seriously doubt you could have gained 17 pounds of fat since monday! you need to eat about 3500 calories past your requirements to gain a pound, so unless you've been eating 13,000-14,000 calories per day, i don't think this is possible. maybe your scale is messed up, or maybe you're having some kind of bizarre fluid retention? i don't know, but if i were you i'd wait until monday, weigh yourself first thing in the morning, and see what happens.
