Ht. 5'6", Wt. 157 - To Dallis: You suggested to someone that they stop eating all bread, cereal, & stuff like that to lose weight. That is not a good idea. Then you are missing out a big part of the food group! Whole wheats are healthy for you. That was BAD ADVICE.

I just went to the doctor and he did a bunch of tests on me, and basically determined I was eating too many carbs. He put me on a two week detox program (which I am currently on) and eliminated all sugar grains, soy products, dairy, beans, bananas and corn. I lost about 4 pounds the first week. And I feel so much better. So, I reccommand, going off of personal experience and doctor reccomendation, keep carbs to a minimum. DO NOT eliminate completely but make sure you are not eating too much bread, cereal and rice (including whole grain)type things. Just my two cents worth. Take it how you please.
