First off Fat Free can go both ways. Fat Free milk has half the calories of regular milk but still calcium. Fat Free or low Fat are good when in comes to dairy. Espechally for girls it can even lighten your period witch makes working out at that time of the month so much more enjoyable. Low Fat or Fat Free dairy is good but watch lables in other places that say Fat free because 0 fat doesn't mean 0 calories. Look for whats low calorie that you still enjoy. If you don't enjoy what your eating you arn't going to stick with it. I happen to love frozen (healthy) dinners so I eat them. And Lean Pockets. I like veggies in a little fat free ranch. I like laughing cow light cheese. I hate reduced Fat Peanut butter therefore I will not eat it. I like full fat crackers therefore I'm not haveing the fat free type. If I want to eat mac and cheese I'll eat the real stuff I just have a small portion. Also make sure your eating a good breakfast. How you start your day can determine the rest of your day so start with whole grain breaks or a healthy cereal with a lower fat milk. Don't start off with a donut or begal with cream cheese no matter how small it is because it will make you feel like a pile of unfuled crud. Well hope i have helped without piling to much on you at once. ♥Kaylee

HOLD UP!! Fat-free foods mean no fat, but LOTS of calories, (most of the time). What you need to do is to start thinking of food as fuel, not pleasure. Just imagine, you see a cupcake on the counter, you eat it because you know it's gonna taste REALLY good. But how long does that satisfacture last? not long at all. My tip for you is to eat healthy,LOTS of fruits and veggies, cut down on portions, drink LOTS of water whenever your hungry, and exercise everyday.

If you just stick with fat-free foods, you'll gain more weight. That is not the answer. I have an aunt and uncle who are overweight, and all's they do is eat fat-free food. They'll bring us food, and it's all fat-free. Their whole kitchen consists of fat-free foods. Go with a calorie count, and lots of cardio. If you don't really like running, like a lot of people trying to lose weight, just try power walking a mile or two a day. Then eventually work your way up to a jog, then a run. Start off slow. Don't force it, or you won't become motivated, and you'll become sore to where you won't want to do anything. Avoid eating after 8 at night. Try to eat a little breakfast that way you won't be as hungry throughout the day. Drink a lot of water. If you don't like regular, buy flavored. It has no calories, and is very good. If you don't like plain foods, buy Mrs.Dash. A lot of it has zero calories, and it's very good. I was going to say more, but I forget...Just try that, and see how it goes. Good luck! I know YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!

i really suggest you eat small portions and stay moivated.......... have the same problem im 5"9-5"11 and weigh 270-280 people always make fun of me. When they do say "I"m loosing weight," in your head keep repeating it....i know it sounds lame but it works. Oh also if you work-out that helps.
