Ht. 5'5", Start: 190 lb, Today: 152 lb, Goal: 130 lb - Is anyone here doing track? It just started yesterday at my school, and let me tell you, it's a REALLY tough, awesome workout. Yeah, there have been some parts where I feel like quiting, and just giving up, but I know that in the long run, track will more than likely help my weight loss efforts even more. I also heard that as the season progesses, it gets more fun, so here's hoping! I was just wondering if anyone else here is doing it, and kind of having a tough time, or just having wicked sore legs!

i do softball..i do a sport all year long..it's volleyball them swimming then softball..nd this year swimming in the summer nd then v-ball camp nd i start over again..pretty fun. In softball when we get in trouble we run nd i'm always in the front..last year i was in the back =D now i LIKE running..it gives me time 2 think..just like swimming does...when u run..don't think about the running..start thinking about something else =D..i daydream..lol..in swimming i have in my mind..stroke stroke stroke..breath...turn..lol

Yeah, I used to sometimes go to the track just to jog too, but school track is A LOT different, and definitely isn't as easy as just jogging on your own.

I don't do track but I go to a school track every now and then and jog. It does hurt the legs :-( but keep at it soon you'll be running faster then u normal do. AND you'll lose weight. Good Luck!
