Ht. 5'7", Start: 199 lb, Today: 199 lb, Goal: 140 lb - does anyone know what excersizes besides running and situps there are to getting a smaller stomach by the summer? i NEED help..PLeASE RESPOND

Sit ups don't help you burn that fat, and get a smaller stomach, it actually may get bigger because you are building muscle. Cardio excercise works your whole body, and it burns fat off from everywhere. Doing sit ups are a good excercise, and it still burns fat, but you will be way more successful with cardio excercise. this is any kind of excercise that keeps your heart rate up and works a lot of your body: swimming, running, walking even(for a longer time), dancing, any sport, etc.

Sit ups won't help you achieve a smaller stomach. You have to burn fat to get a smaller stomach, and you won't have any control where the fat is burned from. Try walking or playing sports to help with this.
