Ht. 5'6", Start: 165 lb, Today: 159 lb, Goal: 130 lb - I was just wondering about no calorie sweetners like splenda and such. If I add like 3 packets to a cup of green tea is that okay and still no calories and stuff? I wonder about it, it seems too good to be true. Is it bad?

There was research done and they found that people who used artificial sweeteners were typically heavier than those who used sugar. I just thought I'd add in that. It was very interesting to me.

try to stay away from 2 or more artifical sugers but if you need to use more than 2 use splenda.

I heard something about if you're going to use sweeteners, try to use ones that are gluten free. I only use about one or two a week, but I think you'd be fine using them in tea. The honey idea sounds pretty good as well, though.

I agree also w/ the person before me, but another thing you could try is sweetening it w/ two teaspoons of honey, which is nature-made and healthy if you don't overdo it. That's what I do w/ my tea.
