Ht. 5'5", Start: 190 lb, Today: 143 lb, Goal: 130 lb - I've got a question: When you measure your waist, where exactly do you measure? Above your belly button, below it, at it? At your widest part, thinnest part? I honestly don't know, and I'd like to figure out how many inches my waist actually is. Thanks guys!

I personally measure my waist at the largest part (below my belly button), and I stand up straight, and tighten my abs (since I walk around like this). Anyway, I have heard that you are supposed to measure your waist at the point where it creases when you bend to the side. I personally don't do it that way. I might measure it there after I lose more weight.

Ok for your waist your measure in between the belly button and your chest area. For your stomach exactly on your belly button
