Ht. 5'6", Start: 166 lb, Today: 158 lb, Goal: 140 lb - alright so i was checking these calorie caluclators and according to them i should be eating 1800 calories a day!! I didn't eat that much even when i was at my all time high 166!! so how in the world am i this overweight?

I eat 1700 calories a day and I have lost 60 pounds. We have to be careful with how low we put our calories down. Most people on this site eat 1200 calories which is the minimum for a grown woman. We are all still children, and need more calories than that.

You probably have a bad metabolism or it's in your genes to be big. Or possibly you just aren't active enough. Oh and make sure to always eat breakfast and don't skip meals. If you have healthy snacks throughout the day you will burn more calories.
