From Emily, Age 13 - 07/19/07 - IP#: 4.238.130.xxx Click here to reply Ht. 5'5", Start: 130 lb, Today: 142 lb, Goal: 105 lb - i finally lost 3 pounds! i know its not alot but i have been dieting and exercising for 4 months and just started to get results. the problem now-my elliptical broke and i cant run outside cuz i live in a bad neighborhood and my mom wont let me. its also cold outside so i cant swim. im going to a party soon and i dont know what to do because they have a chocolate fountain and we are also roasting marshmallows and making smores(its a sleepover)a couple days ago i did kindof badly...i ate a bar of chocolate and a couple brownies and fried chicken cuz we went to a fair and my mom doesnt like the idea of me dieting so she makes me eat unhealthy food. she is wierd. i really hope i can lose more but in starting to get hungrier cuz im used to eating alot and now im eating smaller portions.
Reply from claire, Age 16 - 07/19/07 - IP#: 84.92.133.xxx yeah i totally agree with Alexandera, your mum will respect something that is important to you so maybe you shuld just say this is important to me, please respect that and she will, she'll back right off, it also helps if your mum helps you along your journey, like if you are about to give in your mum should be like no dont give in keep going, you have come so far! My mum does that with me and it really helps me! God luck sweety!

She is always like, eat more or she like wants me to get dessert when we go out. I just tell her that i want to be a little healthier and that its important to me and sometimes she backs off.
