I've tried before but it was just hella annoying. Lately I've just been eating normally, but I won't eat til full I'll just eat til satisfied then wait another 3 hours before I eat again if I am hungry. Is that better than counting calories?

There are flaws in calorie restricting thats its not really worth it. Personally i think you should look at what you put in you mouth before you eat it. will it really make you and your body as a whole happy or will it only leave you with temporary satisfaction.

I personally count them because it allows me to feel more incontrol and organized what I eat. But thats my personal standpoint. Do what works for you :)
Reply from rochelle, Age 17 - 07/25/07 - IP#: 142.68.45.xxx i think what you are doing now (eating until you are satisfied and every 3 hours) is a great idea and i think i am going to try that. i never tried counting calories before, i just started a diet today by eating 3 meals a day (breakfast,lunch,supper) with water and i walk every night for almost an hour.

If you can keep you eating in check and truly know that you are not overeating, I would say no, don't. According to your stats, your way is working pretty well, so I wouldn't bother.
