Your body will go into starvation mode there for it will hold everything & in return you will lose nothing. If you're active, you should get anything between 1500-1800 calories. Especially since you're a teenager & need the nutrients. There are ton of websites that can help you with this question. Its very important you consume enough complex (whole-wheat) carbs in a day otherwise your body wont have enough energy and essenials it needs. I eat around 1600-1700 cals a day & I exercise vigourously for about 2 hrs a day. But I am focusing on losing weight, not matience. So just do your research and look around. If you belong to a gym talk to a trainer :)
