Reply from Ella, Age 18 - 09/12/07 - IP#: 128.227.27.xxx I know when I first started college this summer I lost about 20 lbs in a month or so but that's because there are no snacks. Make sure in your new environment that you keep track of what you're eating and drinking for that matter. Try to limit your meals to normal ones and resist going back for seconds in the dining halls or going to the dining halls just to go. Also, take advantage of the great gym facilities colleges have. Mine's fantastic...not sure about yours. Mine offers free classes, personal trainers, intermurals, club sports, and equipment. If your school gives this to you for free as well, I strongly suggest taking advantage of it. Heck, mine has free nutritionists, though I'm not sure I'll be visiting them any time soon.
