nope.i thought it did. it just tones the muscles in your stomach

You won't lose weight by doing sit ups or crunches, but you will stregthen your abs. Of course, that really doesn't matter if you have a layer (or multiple layers) of fat covering them. So make sure you do plenty of cardio.

Also, crunches give you more results than sit ups. Experts say that sit ups are wasted energy. You get the same or better results with crunches and they're less taxing on your body.

Well it def tones up the abs that you have. We all have abs they just might be layered a lil bit. LoL. But they will tone up but to actually burn cals and fat u gotta do some cardio.
