Becoming a vegetarian shouldn't make you gain weight, in fact, you should be taking it off! It depends on what you're eating. You want to eat lots of fruit, vegetables, and whole grains. And maybe try tofu and soy products. Silk milk is really good and has a lot a protein, which is what a vegetarian needs. You cut out all the protein sources by stopping eating meat, so now you need other ways of getting protein. Soy is loaded with it. Also, make sure you take VITAMINS!

well i think that you may be eating candy or unhealthy foods instead of meat so try eating fish or tuna or womething like that i know how you feel because i don't eat meat just make sure your not eating junk food because if you do you may never lose weight unless you workout like crazy well good luck hope i helped. =)
