Ht. 5'8", Start: 225 lb, Today: 189 lb, Goal: 175 lb - P.S I am sooooo freakin scared!! in 2 weeks i have to get my tonsils taken out and its gonna hurt soooo bad for like a week to two weeks. the good part is ill probably lose a couple of pounds from not really being able to eat. this summer i had tonsilitis so bad for about a week and i could barely eat and i lost like 4 pounds so im excited about that, just not the surgery lol and the good part about that too is that i dont gain it back once i start eating again. i guess im lucky lol anyways, pray for me im gonna be so nervous!! lol

I had my tonsils taken out it's no problem. the only thing i remember is the lady asking me about my day and then waking up in the recovery room. The anesthesiologists are very good in making sure ur comfortable and a tonsillectomy is a very basic operation. I was scared too and i still rememeber not being able to eat for a week. I recommend having slushies, they are low in calories and they feel so good so ur throat doesnt hurt so much. Good luck and I'm sure u will be fine

ive got my touncils out 2 but i was like 3 when i got them out so i dont really remeber if it hurts ... thats probably a good thing though if it did hurt really bad i prob would remember so dont worry about it :]
