im very dissapointed in myself. last night my friend invited me over to watch the ball drop and of course i said yes. before i went over there i forgot to eat dinner. so at her house her mom wanted us to make brownies and queso for us to eat. and at first i said "no. im on a diet" but then she begged me to start tomorrow as my New Year's Resolution. and i couldnt resist. now i regret the brownies and queso [which, by the way, tasted really good.]

dont regret the brownies or queso, it was a celebration and you enjoyed them. make up for it by adding some extra work outs, or try my favorite trick to make up for a splurge. for supper i cook an entire bag of mixed frozen veggies, and flavor them with stuff like salt and pepper, dry ranch mix, or calorie free butter spray. the bag of veggies will be about 100-130 calories and the flavorings another 10-20. by having the veggies steamed instead of raw it makes it more satisfying. for dessert try an apple baked with a little cinnamon for another 60-70 calories. yummy.
