From Shannon, Age 18 - 02/11/08 - IP#: 132.177.50.xxx Click here to reply Ht. 5'5", Start: 180 lb, Today: 171 lb, Goal: 135 lb - I have been doing pretty good so far with my weight loss.i started on January 24 and i have already lost nine pounds. i dont really know yet what i want my goal weight to be so i was wondering if anyone else was around my age and my height and if you weigh anywhere below 150lbs, what sizes are you? i only want to be healthy, i dont care about being a size 2 or anything, i was aiming for a size 8 so i just guessed that i would have to be maybe 135-140lbs?

I had no idea what my goal should be either, so I spoke to my doc and based on my family history, bone build, body type, age, and height, he told me I should be 140-150 lbs to have a healthy BMI of 25. Keep in mind that these factors vary and therefore for everyone's healthy BMI and goal weight is different. which is why it's good to talk to a pro. Size wise, I'm currently a 14 in pants and L/XL in shirts. I aim to get to my goal and tone so I can be a size 8/10 and M/L!
