Ht. 5'2", Start: 221 lb, Today: 199 lb, Goal: 165 lb - wow dude yesterday was so HARD! It was my exercise day. I gained weight a couple days ago and it was about 200.8 and then this morning after exercise day yesterday Im only at 199.4 that means I only lost .6 of a pound. I was kinda disapointed cause I did DDR for 10 miles and burned 566 calories, treadmil for a mile and burned 181 calories, 35 sit ups, 200 jump ropes, 300 bike pull ups, and so much more. I was expecting at least a whole oound lost. UGH! I worked so hard and this is how it turns out to be. This sucks! I need to watch more carefully what I eat then. I didnt eat that much yesterday so it surprised me. Maybe I didnt do enough exercise (haha).

Unfortunately, it takes a while for exercise to help you loose weight because you need to gain muscle first and strengthen your body, which will in turn help you blast sat! Also, try mixing up your routine like doing cardio one day and power yoga the next. And never exercise for more than 1 hour !!!

dont be surprised you didnt lose a whole ton of weight after that excersize. You are building muscle. Keep up the excersize because building muscle helps your metabolism speed up and it also helps you burn fat in the long run.

To lose 1 lb. you have to burn 3500 calories. Don't stress. if you keep it up you will lose weight. Plus, its onlt heath to lose 2 lbs a week. I know it doent sounld like much but 2 lbs is like equal to 10 containers of play dough.
Good luck
