Ht. 5'2", Start: 221 lb, Today: 197 lb, Goal: 165 lb - Yesterday I did bad. I only ate 820 calories. My appetite went down and I didnt feel like eating. Is it bad if I just did that for one day?!? I lost 2 pounds in 2 days which is ALOT. Is that bad if I only did that one day? I usually eat at least 1200 calories. I am obsessed with exercising though. I exercise ALOT! Believe me. My mom thinks I am UNBELIEVEABLE with exercising. I DDR, treadmil, bike pull ups, push ups, sit ups, lift weights, dance alot, run, and what ever I can find to do. I love to skateboard but not sure if that burns that much calories. Ok so was yesterday bad?

yea seriously, why are people freaking out? nothing is going to happen. if you eat only 800 calories for a month or something then your metabolism will slow down, but 1 day isn't going to do crap.
i hear all these people saying "you need to eat to live" which is true obviously but not eating for a period of time is actually good for you. look up fasting on google and read about it.

everyone is freaking for no reason. that happens to me from time to time too. if you aren't hungry you're not going to force yourself to eat right? after all, when losing weight aren't we making a habit of listening to our bodies so we dont eat when we aren't hungry? just because you didnt eat 1200 calories one day doesnt mean your metabolism is going to slow down right away and make it impossible for you to lose weight. if you were to eat around 800 calories for a week or two, then you'd have issues to worry about

i just wouldnt make a habit of it as your metabolism will slow down making it even harder for you to lose weight but one day is not the end of the world. good luck!

Believe it or not, there is a such a thing as eating too little. Your body needs a certain amount of calories to function properly, and you need AT LEAST 1200 to be healthy. Overdoing it on the exercise is also a bad idea. I recommend exercise no more than an hour a week three or four times a week. And please eat more and a more balanced diet. Cutting way back takes a serious toll on your body.

you gotta eat girl!! not eating is almost worse for you! when you dont eat enough your body will hold water and salt and it will make it more difficult for you to lose weight. stick to 1200 calories a day.. i know you want to lose weight (believe me so do i) but do it in a healthy way!!! please.

well it's normal when u diet for a long time it's normal i believe u should try to eat more throughout the day instead of 3 times a day 5 to 6 times a day small meals that will make it better and if u workout when ur bored or watev it's good but don't over do it when ur body says stop u listen to it but i think ur amazing u've done an excalant job keep up the good work and good luck in everything u'll reach ur goal in no time

Well I normally eat at least 1200 it was just yesterday I didnt feel like eating. I was too depressed. It was just one day. I exercise at least 2 hours 7 days a week. I am extremely active and hyper. My goal is ACTUALLY 115 cause thats what I am suppose to be. I just want to get to 165 to have a closer goal then have another goal to be 115. I want it to seem closer so I can have motivation. I am hoping to be less weight tomorrow. I actually got muscles!
