Anyways, if you hadnt noticed im over weight i mean 14 years old 5 9 and 268 lbs like WOW. I need to lose weight badly. Im a freshmen in high school and im very popular. Only thing is Im fat.. All my friends tell me I would be even more amazing if I lost weight. There is this one girl I like a lot but is a good friend of mine and I am sure she wouldnt go out with me. Anyways before i get off topic. Ive been reading a lot of these other posts and most say eat 1200 calories a day. Well I dot know how many calories I eat a day so yea. Can you guys help me out on that part? Like tell me what I should eat every day. Umm I dont really like fruits and veggies. So... I have DDR but I dont play it as much as I should. I am scarred to run outside just incase one of my friends see me. Umm well thats it I guess I really want to lose weight so please help =]

And then if you have a tv in your room watch your fav tv show or a movie while working out. The way I count how many cal. I eat is before each meal I look at each individual thing I am eating and estimate how many calories are in it. Say I am eating a serving of lasangua or something like that. First I would estimate like 150-200 cal for the noodles then 80 for the sauce, then add up the rest. With the veggie thing. Go to the grocerie store and find different kinds of veggies. Try an advacadoe (they are best with a little salt sprinkled on the top) or something like that. YOu don't have to eat the typical celery or carrots to get your 3 a day. Hope it helps. -Amanda
Reply from jacquie, Age 18 - 02/23/08 - IP#: 76.214.170.xxx ok basics caloires are how much fuel you food gives off to your body. you eat tom many your body keeps them and turns them into fat. mearsure your food count the cals and you'll be ok that's what i do. it can be a pain in the butt sometimes but it really works i do 1500 calss becasue my body needs workes good with that amount if you have never counted cals before i would recomeb=nd you start with a number between 1200-1500. also try workout videos well now dvds they are fun and work you even check them out from the libary and then return them and get another one. as for your friends seeing you i understand. i will not workout enless im alone so i've had to do it before school or right after even locking my door and doing it. it all oays off in the end
Reply from Amanda, Age 19 - 02/23/08 - IP#: 63.135.3.xxx hey, if you dont realy like fruits and veggies, try eating other healthy things like chicken breast, eggs, oatmeal, and if there are any fruits or veggies you like try eating those. 1200 calories a day is very little especially for a boy so you could try eating about 1800 to start and see what happens. hope i helped :) good luck
