Ht. 5'7", Start: 180 lb, Today: 180 lb, Goal: 150 lb - I feel like every single time I attempt to get healthy and in shape, I fail terribly. I am DETERMINED this time not to give up. But that means I need support and need to stay focused. I would greatly appreciate any advice you guys want to throw my way. Things that have been working for you, things that haven't. Anything really! I want to turn my life around, and I'd like to think that realizing that is half the battle. Best of luck to everyone here! I may not know you, but you're all putting forth amazing effort and I'm incredibly proud.

dont start big, because you need to have a gradual change. Make sure your getting excersize like 3 times a week. But most importantly monitor what you eat. Go for more protein then carbs. Fruits and vegetables.
I eat light yogurt for breakfast, then later on i have protein bar, when i get home from chool i have a piece of cheese and som turkey breast. then for dinner some protein and a vegetable. You dont have to cut down a huge amount because that will make your metabolic rate drop and that will keep you from burning calories. Just make it slow and gradual. Also this is a lifestyle change so you have to be commited for life. Also be aware that losing weight will be alot slower for you because you dont have as much excess weight as other people so count on losing 1 poind a week.
