Then , I started gaining weight in about grade 4. And now, unfortunately, I have a ton of stretch marks on my stomach. Even though I'm not the fattest girl in my grade, I know my dad thinks I'm fat. Any tips? I'm on a diet right now, doing a pretty good exercise program. Oh, and any stretch mark cream suggestions? =P

Reply from leigh, Age 16 - 03/21/08 - IP#: 66.57.182.xxx honestly there's not really a cream that will get rid of them. they are basically like scar tissue. i have lots of stretch marks too and have tried different creams like coco butter and mederma, but they didn't really help. but they will fade in time. for me they started out like a pinky purplish color, and eventually turned white. it takes a while though. from what i've read from the internet and magazines, the only thing that makes a difference is some type of laser therapy. :( i don't think it would hurt for you to try the creams though. i hate sretch marks.
