Well he told me he likes me a lot and that he loves everything about me and i like him a lot to and i told him but then he told me has a girlfriend! and i told him that i dont want to come between him and his girlfriend they've been going out for almost a year. and he said that he will break up with her for me becuase things havent really been working out between them, and i told him to try to work things out with her first before we go any farther. i have no idea what to do i really like him a lot but then i think okay if we do end up going out how am i supposed to know he wont do the same thing to me that he did to his girlfriend if things get a little rough help!

From what you told me, In the same situation there is no doubt i would be flattered, but i defenitely would not go out with him because of how hes treating his own girlfriend(even if they are having problems). I know how 16 year olds are, i have a bunch of guy friends. They go for the next thing they see that will give them a good time, even the good ones. Also he is older, i know its awesome that an older guy is into you and all, but when your 16 you will see what i am talking about. Take it from a girl who knows. It doesnt mean you cant be there to relish in his flirtations, but just keep it to that and dont get to close because he sounds like a heart breaker and at 13 years old you are emotionally not ready for that. I dont think any teenager is ready for that. Talk to your friends see what they say but most of all listen to your conscience.
