Ht. 5'3", Start: 153 lb, Today: 149 lb (BMI %tile: 91), Goal: 105 lb - Hey, I used to be really skinny. I dont know what happened to me. In 7th grade when I stopped growing I just gained a lot of weight- fast. For a few years I weighed 145 and it never changed, then recently I started thinking about it more and more. At one point I was uncoinciously starving myself- only for 2 weeks though. Sure, I lost weight, but I felt sick all the time. Then I gave up and decided to eat again. And once you've stopped eating your body stores fats and whenever you do eat it clings on to them, thinking you are going to starve again. 153 is the most I've ever weighed in my life, and I never want to go there again.It scarred me and somehow I lost4 ponds really quick. So i picked up this book tday called "The Diet for Teenagers Only" and I think it is actually quite good.
People tell me that most of my weight is mucle, but I dont believe them because my doctor said that I could lose a few ponds, and the BMI chart said that I am almost obease. (and I know my bone structure contributes to my number being so high)
But I hate that I cant wear a bikini, or basically ANYTHING without looking like a cow.
So I am going to change. The safe way. I am going to Italy in the spring and I want to be thin. I am determined to be 105 lbs by then.

you pretty much in the same situation as me. i'm the same height but i'm weigh about 135-140. i have that book too(: i love it, but i still havent like used it haha. and i'm going to disney in the spring and i want to be 110 pounds by then. i'm gonna start exercising again either tomorrow or wednesday. if you need help, i'm here(:
