Reply from Jocelyn, Age 17 - 12/31/08 - IP#: 96.51.107.xxx Teenagers need to eat at least 1800 calories when they do not exercise. You should be eating probably 2000 calories. I know it seems like A LOT, but trust me it will help. When you are a teenager, your body grows and develops, and needs many many nutrients to help you. Reply from Amanda, Age 19 - 12/31/08 - IP#: 208.96.109.xxx it could be that you aren't eating enough. i know that sounds messed up, but its true. 1000 cals a day is almost like starvation. your body holds on to whatever it has because it thinks you're starving. try eating 1100 to 1200 a day, and drink lots of water, and you should see a change. hope i helped
