And since then, I've entered high school, have myself a boy, and gained back some of the weight i lost. I would like to do a sport, and talked to the coach and me and her are mad chill and she's going to help me but, i need to be able to run somewhat.. and idk i just need that push... it's not too much of a problem when i'm around people like that are in shape and have to run with them bc i feel the pressue that i have to so i can.. although it may kill me i find out a way to do that... i need a way to motivate my ownself and get into shape .. i don't want to look like this forever.
Reply from Lizzy, Age 15 - 04/26/09 - IP#: 70.230.185.xxx Well first off, congratz about the boy! and i know exactlyy how you feel, b/c i joined my school's prestigious track team this year in hopes of having our schools star athletes give me motivation, and it's extremely hard! i have no endurance so trying to keep up with those girls is almost impossible. what i recommend for you is to (if you have the time and willpower) join your school's distance team, but take it at your own pace. hopefully your team is supportive and nice and just being around them will push you. start running slow and stop when you really really need to. running in intervals (running/walking) is actually an excellent way of losing weight! also, don't do i every day even if your coach wants you to, you'll wear yourself out wayy too quickly.... i hope this helps and let me if you end up trying this! good luck!!
