Also, if you can't exercise too, too often, then eat well. I challenge you to keep a food diary tomorrow of everything you eat. DON'T EAT WELL JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE DOING IT. That is downright cheating and it defeats the purpose entirely. Then, add up the calories for each thing (buy a book that lists it if you have trouble estimating). If it's above 1400, then you're going to need to control how much you eat. Now, the next day, drink more water, eat smaller portions of better things, and WRITE IT ALL DOWN. If you eliminate 500 calories from your diet every day (use the Day 1 food diary of how much you ate and subtract 500 to get your daily calorie intake limit) you will lose a pound a week--not including exercising. You will lose almost 2 pounds if you exercise too. For exercise, go walking for 45 minutes a day or do a workout video. If you need more help or didn't understand something, just reply.
