Ht. 5'4", Start: 173 lb, Today: 173 lb (BMI %tile: 96), Goal: 130 lb - you guys my goal is to lose 43 pounds (as you can see) and i was wondering how soon i could lose that. like how many pounds a week for how many weeks. i'd like to have it done by the end of summer so that's like 4 months from now? that's approximately 19 weeks...so how much weight would i have to lose each week to get there??? or can i lose it sooner than that?

Anything is possible! But PLEASE do it the healthy way! Dont deprive yourself of food and dont over work out! Do it healthy, and anything can happen! Good luck!

i know how you feell, i just want to rush all the weight off as well.
It is safe to loose 1-2 pounds a week.
The first week is the easiest you can loose up to 10 pounds! [eventho 1/2 of that is most likely water weight]
So if you set a goal of 1 pound a week, you won't be overly stressed to get it off, and if you loose more than a pound you can subtract a week.
I am planning on loosing 20 pounds in 6 weeks. at a camp i am going to, so its possible!

Well if you do it healthily you could lose one-three pounds a week.... SO you could do it by the end of summer, but you also have to remember that you will probably have setbacks along the way. But im sure you could get close if not al the way to your goal by the end of summer it you tried.
