Ht. 5'5", Start: 181 lb, Today: 158 lb (BMI %tile: 86), Goal: 120 lb - heyyyyy guys! :)
well i wanted to start my weight loss fresh with a 3 day fast on lemona. and orange juice to cleanse my system starting sunday/monday/tuesday :) but its sooooooooo hard i tried on friday and just gave up. is there any tips you guys can give me [if you tried] about how to keep the cravings down.. thank you.

Stace, you don't have to be condescending. Not every physician always gives sound advice, that's why I said, it might be good to seek a second opinion. And yes, from juice you'll get calories, but not from solid food, not from the right things, not the right KIND of calories to live on. And you said three days, not "a day". A day, while still not the best, is way different from three days living on nothing but juice. But you've been a condescending little jerk with the way you spoke to me, despite the fact I wished you luck and everything, so I hope you get exactly what you deserve...

yes its SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HARD! i lost 25 pounds in just 3 months during the summer but damn i tell you ever since i started schoool i have been lacking behind on my daily exercise regimes and my eating habit was just HORRIBLE. I mean i just had oreos caramel sundae. its so bad.. ive been studying writing essays and i just find that as an excuse. but tomorrow im starting my juice fast for a day or two to clean my system out and then cut all my sweets out and i will treat myself every fridays :) thats my plan. i think you need to be very very motivated and remember before you eat a pizza or candy tell yourself "is this really worth it".. god its hard but it really does work. and hey i left like a whole page to a comment from "DAN" shes 16 and she asked me several questions and i literally gave her a chronological data on how i lost this weight when i was EXTERMELY motivated.. anyways look for that comment.. and take care.. ask me anything you want :)

"i doubt your doctor said that to you" haha. sorry i found that funny you would doubt a stranger who you dont know. and yes my DOCTOR A PHYSICIAN O.o told me to fast for a day or two before i get back on my weight loss it would "HELP" you cleanse your tissues organs and get rid of toxics while it builds a strong immune stystem and remember taylor its a JUICE FAST im still going to get many calories in with orange juice apple juice water and lemonade. and its only for a day i dont know whats the big deal :|

Hi StAcE! It's REALLY hard to resist CRAVEings! Even though I'm TOO heavy the craveings drive me CRaZY! I'm 5 feet and 304 which is very OVERweight and it's getting hard to WALK and BREATHE but I don't have willPOWER! If you get any TIPS please tell them to ME!

I doubt your doctor told you to fast, if so you might wanna look into a second opinion. there are flushes that are far healthier than "fasting" cleanses, and it can still mess up your metabolism to fast for even 24 hours, so it's definitely not good to do when you're looking to lose weight. However, I wish you the best in whatever you choose.

yes, i understand, HOWEVER, my doctor told me before embarking on a weight loss journey its BEST to cleanse your system. when you go on a 1-2 day juice fasting it cleanses out your whole organs, tissues, and toxics, which is GREAT because you are starting off with a good immune system. its not like im fasting for a week, im just fasting to cleanse my system for a day or two because for the past month i've be eating chocolate after fast food after cookies and im suprised im still in the 150s lol.

Fasting is never healthy, and it's REALLY bad for losing weight, even just for "cleansing your system" it can screw up your metabolism and make it harder to lose weight...
